Invitation to participate in the online survey option:

In our ongoing effort to include Bar Members in the evaluation process and to reduce paper costs, The Council encourages attorneys to respond to online bar surveys. To participate in an online survey, you must provide the Alaska Bar Association or the Alaska Judicial Council with a preferred e-mail address. If you do not currently receive an electronic survey, or if your e-mail address has changed, please simply reply through your preferred email address with "YES, please use this email" to jmathes@ajc.state.ak.us and we will be sure to add you in our list!

The electronic survey is hosted by UAA Institute of Social and Economic Research and have proven to be successful in ease of use, confidential replies, and sustainability. The e-mail (sent by the host) contains a link which has an individual password imbedded in it. Simply click on the link or cut and paste the link into your web-browser address bar and you will be directed to the survey. Survey data are encrypted during transmission to preserve the confidentiality and upon receipt, your response is stripped of its e-mail address. The Council welcomes and values input; participation from as many attorneys as possible will ensure that the survey findings are representative. The council relies on survey findings as an important part of its review of each applicants’ qualifications. Even if you do not know the applicants, your confidential response to the demographic questions is extremely useful.

As a reminder, please update your preferred email address directly with the Alaska Bar @ (907) 272-7469 to ensure all future mailings. It also is beneficial to add ajc@qemailserver.com to your trusted sites to prevent the surveys being blocked as spam. If you believe you should have received a survey but did not, please call 279-2526.
